La Monarda è una pianta della famiglia delle labiate, conosciuta come menta-bergamotto per il suo gradevole aroma che ricorda proprio il te al bergamotto. Questo infuso prende il nome dagli Oswego, indiani del Nord America che lo utilizzavano come te digestivo, espettorante e diuretico.
